I am a lifelong Oregonian – married for over 40 years; mother to 3 adult children and grandmother to 8.
As a child, even before knowing how to read, the library was my favorite place to go. By the third grade, I loved creative writing and spelling; words were my jam. Reading was my favorite thing to do; I quickly learned you could do anything or go anywhere in a book, with a little imagination.
As an adult, I became an insatiable reader and a bit of a grammar/word nerd. My family and close friends affectionately (most of the time, anyway) call me spell-freak. I’ve done freelance editing for several years, and I also wrote articles for and edited a monthly newsletter for a non-profit group I worked for.
My passion for words leads me to help others get the ideas out of their heads and onto a book’s pages. Especially for entrepreneurs, coaches, experts, and influencers, it’s vital to have a book to help them be known and viewed as an authority in their respective fields. For those not ready to take the leap to write a book, I offer blog writing services.
I love helping people look good through their writing. It’s becoming a lost art.
